Assisted train travel

Whether you’re living with a disability or have limited mobility, we aim to make our service accessible for all passengers.

Luton Airport Express trains have dedicated wheelchair spaces next to accessible toilets, plus a ramp for step-free access on and off the train. There are audio announcements and travel information screens on board, and staff on all trains and at stations to provide assistance.

London St Pancras International and Luton Airport Parkway are fully-accessible stations with step-free level access to all platforms. For more information about the accessibility of stations on your journey check the National Rail station accessibility map.

Passenger Assist

If you need a helping hand on your journey, speak to a member of staff at the station or on the train. For extra peace of mind you can book assistance in advance through our Passenger Assist service up to just two hours before travelling with us.

Through Passenger Assist we can help you plan your journey, suggest the best train tickets and reserve the most convenient seats or a wheelchair space for you. We can make sure you get the assistance you need at the station and on the train, help with your luggage and with transfers between different trains.
